Privacy
This site introduces me and lets you write to me. It collects almost nothing.
Who is responsible
I am the data controller for this site, which means I am responsible for any personal data it handles: Matteo Garoli, Milan, Italy. You can reach me at matteo.garoli@gmail.com.
VAT number: 11882780965.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking tools, and it loads no scripts or fonts from other companies.
When you email me
If you write to me, your message arrives in my Gmail inbox. I use your message and your address only to reply to you. I do not add them to any list, and I delete them when you ask me to.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare handles technical data such as your IP address, the page you asked for and the time, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. I do not use that data to identify visitors. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy covers what it does with it.
Links to other sites
The site links to LinkedIn, to Accanto on Substack, to the certificate verification page on Coursera and to a few press and event pages (ItaliaOggi, BitMat and Class Agorà) that mention my work, and, inside the articles, to the sources they cite. Once you follow a link, that site’s own rules apply.
Your rights and how to ask
Under the GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it or ask me to delete it. Write to matteo.garoli@gmail.com and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with my answer, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
